|Pastor Dan Holland, Head Pastor|
Over the course of eleven months, the Pastor Nominating Committee met weekly to pray, plan, and seek God’s voice in the search for the next pastor of MVPC.
They considered their role in this process as an honor and a privilege, a responsibility not to be taken lightly. They read and evaluated over one hundred Pastor Information Forms, listened to many sermons, and talked with many references. They interviewed candidates via Skype and in person. The final candidate selection process included bringing 2 candidates and their families here for a weekend in early October to have an opportunity for more personal contact and detailed discussions. After prayerful evaluation and seeking discernment, we felt affirmed that God directed us to nominate
Reverend Daniel James Holland
as the next Pastor to lead MVPC. Pastor Dan and his wife Rebecca have four children; Natalie, Micheala, Ben and baby Jonathan.
Pastor Dan received his B.S. in Biology at the University of Washington and Master of Divinity and Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction at San Francisco Theological Seminary, San Anselmo, CA.
