My name is Wes McGarrah and I am very honored to be the new Director of Youth for this congregation. I have just graduated from Multnomah University (formerly Multnomah Bible College – don’t worry, the Bible is still the main focus) in Portland Oregon and I now find myself living back in the place I grew up. I am originally from Big Lake WA and my wife (Amanda) is from the Stanwood – Camano area. My wife and I have been married for 2 years and we have a little girl, Adelaide Joy. God has been so good to both of us and we have been blessed by a loving Savior.
It is great to be back in the Northwest and I am ready for a much anticipated summer in this beautiful area. One of my all time passions is baseball and what a better team than our very own Seattle Mariners. I am very thankful that the Lord hasn’t taken me to another state where I would be forced to go to watch other teams that I just don’t care about. “You gotta love these guys”. On top of watching the M’s play, I am looking forward to mountain biking with my wife and going to various lakes. Anything outdoors is right up my alley, so if you are interested in doing ANYTHING outside...just let me know!
I would just like to say again how excited my wife and I are to be working with the youth, so if you fall under that category, come say hi to us! The rest of you can come and say hi as well! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and to be a part of this church family.
